News - Movement special!

A lot of movements have taken place in the last couple of months - here's a summary

Breakdown Train moves...
The Toton BTU set 975080, 975465 & 975481 was sent on holiday to Old Oak Common mid April before taking a trip across to Broxbourne where it assisted with a derailment on 27th April. It later moved to Temple Mills where it joins the former Old Oak Common set!

West Country moves...
061034 (94798) from Bristol St Phillips Marsh depot has moved to the East Somerset Railway - noted there 29th May. It carries a maroon livery with a label suggesting this livery was applied in Bristol before the move!

975653 from Kineton has also arrived at East Somerset Railway - also seen there on 29th May.

Meanwhile going the other way - 977934 departed for Booths - arriving there at the beginning of May.

320888 which suffered fire damage at Bere Ferrers has apparently been removed by Heanors and the remains broken up at Langley Mill.

Staying with Devon - 977626 moved from Coventry Railway Centre to Great Torrington station in Devon around mid May.

Internal User moves...
024816 - ex Stratford & Broadway Railway to Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway.
060913 - ex Stratford & Broadway Railway to Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway.
070857 - ex Dean Forest Railway to Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway.

Ferme Park clear-out...
Exhibition coach 99645 left on 15th May and arrived at Derby on the morning of the 17th. This is destined for Rampart C&W works.
99646 left on the 18th May and headed for Stewarts Lane where it was seen on 20th May.
977510 was loaded on the 24th May and was initially taken to Heanor's yard at Langley Mill before being delivered to Booths on 1st June.

Other moves...
ADS 70133 arrived Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway on 4th May.

92125, a former DRS escort vehicle, is now in preservation at the Battlefield Railway.

BEMU 975003 & 975004 was delivered to the Royal Deeside Railway on 12th May from its storage site.

Van E 87249, (041969) was taken from Swanage Railway to Old Radnor, S.Wales on 15th April. The new owner informs me the bodywork has now been removed as it was in very poor condition and the underframe will be used underneath GWR coach No.12 of 1861.

977833 has apparently moved from the Wensleydale Railway to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway.
