This vehicle drives me mad.....every year I visit London, and travel to the Wembley area to try and view it and it's nowhere to be seen! Oh well, maybe This year eh...

Am I right in saying that this vehicle would usually be found on the right hand side, when leaving Stonebridge Park towards Wembley Central? Only ever seen a shunter and maybe the odd Caledonian sleeper coach when I've passed the many times before....

Greg, my interpretation from the sightings is that it is normally located on the right hand (up) side when travelling from Stonebridge Park towards Wembley Central on the DC lines.
Going back as long as I can remember enthusiasts have reported the labyrinth of sidings and yards between Harlesden and Wembley Central in different ways. What one person refers to as Stonebridge Park another refers to as Wembley Heavy Repair Depot but another might actually mean what another refers to as Wembley Yard etc etc
I am not totally sure but do suspect it sometimes moves from the up side to the downside by way of the reception sidings on the right (up) side closer to Wembley Central and spends a lot of its time hidden in one of the buildings. .

I have in fact now seen this BG, and it did take some spotting I can tell you! It was last August, and as you say it was to be found on the DC lines side outside the Heavy Repair Shop.Thankyou
