Its a possibility this wagon may be lurking inside the old Pullman sheds but this isn't confirmed. We *may* know this year once it is finally cleared although it is proving a tricky task to complete!

This is a very interesting wagon, as it appears to be one of the 5000 GWR diagram N32 Minerals built from 1933 for redemption hire. They had various builders and were painted in the private ownership liveries. If it does still survive it would be an important historical artefact very worthy of preservation.

I saw an old mineral wagon (loaded with rotten sleepers) outside the Preston Park Pullman Sheds on 9/7/94 although i can't confirm if it was this one or not. The only other wagon visible outside the former Pullman Sheds on this date was a four-plank dropside open (loaded with machinery) which was presumably 'preserved' stock, so the mineral wagon may have belonged to them as well. All will be revealed in due course.
