Was this former Mk.1 TSO 4058 or not please? I don't understand the sentence "Not issued allocated to BR coach 4058".
Going through some old notes I saw 4058 at Derby in May 1991 so I am trying to clarify exactly what I saw! Thanks

I've amended with some punctuation!
Some coaches were allocated departmental series numbers but they were not carried. So yes this is 4058 but it never carried "977629".
